Acapella
A cappella is a singing style characterized by the absence of musical instrument accompaniment. A cappella, whose name means "in the manner of the chapel" in Italian, was originally used in the music of the church. It can be sung by a soloist or in group.
Over the years, the a cappella style has expanded into genres such as pop, doo wop, and barbershop quartets. Many modern a cappella groups or artists use their voices, through the technique of beat-boxing, to add percussive elements to their songs.
