Adobe Premier Pro

Adobe Premiere Pro is software that allows for the editing of video. Premiere Pro is the most current version of the original software, Adobe Premiere, which was released in December of 1991. The software has seen numerous upgrades and innovations in video editing, culminating in Premiere Pro.

Adobe Premiere Pro provides a number of features on its NLE (non-linear editing) system.
  • Premiere Pro can handle the import of a number of graphic, video, and audio formats.
  • During editing, the user is able to organize and manage material in a timeline.
  • A variety of titles, transitions, effects, and filter are available to enhance and modify video.
  • Premiere Pro allows for the export of finalized video onto a multitude of formats including DVD, tape, Internet formats, and DV.   
For further enhancement during editing, a bundle of Adobe software can be purchased along with Premiere Pro that provides additional special effects and audio manipulation.
