Casting Director

The casting director of a film is the person responsible for filling the speaking roles in a script. The casting director works closely with the director and producer of a film to ensure that the artistic direction of the film is maintained throughout the choosing of actors for specific parts. Generally, a casting director, along with their associates, will cast all the minor roles and extras without the presence of a director or producer.
