Dubbing
Dubbing is a process performed in the post-production phase of a film. During this process, an actor performs scripted dialogue as a previously shot scene is played back in front of them in order to stay in sync with the lip movements. The purpose of dubbing is to correct any dialogue that is indistinct due to sub-par filming conditions.Dubbing is also utilized when a film is shot in another language. A voice actor is hired to perform the script in the desired language and syncronized as closely to the film’s action as possible.
