Eberhard Effect
The Eberhard Effect is the result of photographic film development, in which the areas of high and low densities on film, also known as Mackie lines, converge to create a heightened density of a particular area. More simply put, the Eberhard Effect is a border effect that results due to insufficient agitation of photographic solution during development.
