Editor

The editor, in all video media, is the person who compiles raw footage, along with all its elements (such as sound, special effects, and graphics) into a polished, final piece. The editor is essential in the post-production process and relies heavily on their collaboration with the director to achieve the desired tone and pace for the film or video.

An editor is typically hired independently, on a contract basis. The field of video editing is wide, encompassing film, music videos, TV shows, commercials, training videos, and so on.
