Sound Designer

In film, the role of the sound designer is directly related to the film’s audio, be it sound effects, dialogue, or music. A sound designer is expected to manipulate soundbites into usable and appropriate “soundscapes” that match the tone and direction of a film. They also have a creative hand in the compilation of the film’s soundtrack and work closely with the film’s composer, director, and editor.
