Sound editor
A sound editor is the person within the sound crew who completes editing on the film’s soundtrack (not to be confused with the music soundtrack). This involves combining and balancing dialogue, background sounds, music, and special effects within the final mix of a film. This person works closely with the director, editor, and composer to ensure that the focus and tone of the film is unified.
