Music changes fast. Popular styles come and go. Production quality is always improving. Production techniques evolve.
Unless you are Abe Simpson or creating TV commercials for the local retirement home, you owe it to yourself to seek out a music source that stays current with it’s production. Without naming names, some of the largest music libraries in the world produced the majority of their catalog over 15 years ago. One of the more visible royalty free libraries has not released any new music in over 6 years.
At Prolific Arts Inc., we have created all 3 of our catalogs in the last 2 years. Unless you are perusing our “Era” CDs, you will not find anything that sounds like it was created in the seventies.
